Aalto Finance warmly welcomes you to Markets Prep with Nordea 2026! The purpose of the event is to provide you the opportunity to get familiar with the Markets division with Nordea representatives.
No prior experience in Markets or related interviews is required, so all students interested in finance from second year and above are warmly welcome.

Private Equity Prep
Aalto Finance warmly welcomes all students interested in private equity to learn about the interview process together with DevCo.
DevCo is a long-term oriented active owner and development partner dedicated to building world leading companies in selected niche markets, having raised c. EUR 2bn in funds to date.
No prior experience in PE prepping is required, so all students are warmly welcome.

Consulting Case Prep
Aalto Finance warmly welcomes all consulting interested students to learn about cracking consulting cases and interviews together with BCG!
The purpose of the event is to provide you the opportunity to get familiar with the typical management consulting interview process, get an overview of consulting cases and get better at case solving through first-hand learning with BCG consultants.
No prior experience in case prepping or interviews is required, so all finance students are warmly welcome.

Investment Banking Prep 2026
Aalto Finance warmly welcomes you to Investment Banking Prep with Aventum 2026!
The event will be held at the Aventum Helsinki office (Eteläesplanadi 14, 00130 Helsinki) on Tuesday, May 12th at 17:30-20:30. No prior experience in investment banking is required, so all students are warmly welcome.

M&A Evening 2026
Aalto Finance, Pykälä, HankInvest, and Prodeko warmly welcome you to M&A Evening 2026!
During the evening, you will learn more about M&As from four different aspects: legal (Hannes Snellman), investment banking (Nordea), strategy (BCG), and client-side / private equity (Vaaka Partners). You also get to test your skills in a relaxed environment by solving an LBO case in multidisciplinary groups, and afterwards enjoy a dinner while connecting with students and partner representatives. The evening will culminate with a casual after-party!

Introduction to Career Opportunities
Aalto Finance’s Prepping Programme starts off with an Introduction to Career Opportunities on Wednesday, May 6th.
The event is open to all students interested in finance related career paths. Its purpose is to introduce students to different job opportunities that finance can offer, give a snapshot of the different interview processes, and further inform students about the upcoming insight events that Aalto Finance will organize this spring.

Aalto Finance Annual Ball & Sillis 2026
The wait is over – the Aalto Finance Annual Ball 2026 will be held on June 13th followed by Sillis on June 14th. Together with our partner EGP, we are delighted to invite you to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Aalto Finance.
The program will feature spectacular performances, inspiring speeches and much more throughout the weekend. At Sillis, guests will also get enjoy a surprise artist performance, making the weekend even more unforgettable.

Annual Poker Tournament
The legendary Aalto Finance Poker Tournament returns on May 8, 2026, at Casino Helsinki.
For years, finance students and representatives from our partner firms have come together to compete for the title of poker champion in a relaxed, high-quality setting.
Registration opens on April 17, 2026. Half of the spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and the other half will be distributed randomly. The event is free of charge, with more detailed schedules and information to be announced closer to the date.

The annual Stockholm excursion offers selected top students an exclusive opportunity to connect with leading investment banks, consulting firms, hedge funds, and private equity firms in Sweden's vibrant capital. The trip is typically held in the spring.
London Trek
The London Trek offers selected top students the opportunity to visit and learn from some of the world’s leading banks and financial institutions while exploring career opportunities in one of the global financial capitals. The trip is usually held in the autumn.
After Exams
Our quarterly After-Exams provide students a chance to unwind after their efforts and build new connections. These events also offer our partner companies a unique opportunity to engage with students and leave a lasting impression in a relaxed, social setting.
Poker Tournament
Leading companies and top students come together to compete for great prizes and the coveted Aalto Finance Poker Tournament title. Held in the spring, this event offers a dynamic mix of strategy, competition, and networking in a lively atmosphere.
Top Women’s Dinner
For a decade, the annual Top Women’s Dinner has served as an inspiring platform for women to discover the diverse career opportunities in finance. With a unique theme each year, the event encourages and empowers women to pursue unique careers in the financial industry.
Market’s Night
Markets Night offers students a unique opportunity to explore career paths in financial markets through an evening of engaging discussions, networking, and a shared dinner. Held in a relaxed setting, the event fosters meaningful insights and connections with industry professionals.
Entrepreneurs’ Night
Entrepreneurs’ Night brings together visionary entrepreneurs, top venture capitalists, and curious students. Join us to gain insights from industry leaders, explore the world of startups and investments, and connect with like-minded peers who share a passion for innovation
M&A Evening
M&A Evening offers an interdisciplinary experience where students engage with professionals from investment banking, consulting, legal advisory, and the client side of transactions. Through solving a case, participants gain hands-on insights into the complexities of deal-making.
Major Night
The Major Night offers first-year students a unique opportunity to explore Finance as a major, gaining insights into the study experience and future career opportunities. Meet current students, professors, alumni, and corporate partners to learn how Finance can shape your path.
Women’s Brunch

Pre-Christmas Party
The Pre-Christmas Party is your chance to unwind, celebrate the year, and kick off the holiday season in a festive atmosphere with friends and the entire Finance community. Here, you can swap the suit for an ugly Christmas sweater and embrace the holiday spirit.
Fresh in Finance
