Hedge funds are among the most sought-after and least understood employers in finance. Few students know what actually happens inside a fund, how the different strategies work, or what it takes to land a role. This event aims to change that by giving you a first-hand look at the work and application processes of global hedge funds.

Our speaker is Janne Väisänen, who has worked as a Risk Manager at Citadel, one of the world's leading multi-strategy hedge funds. Janne will share his perspective from inside the industry.

What to expect

Get a clear picture of how hedge funds operate and what it actually takes to break into the industry. Janne will give you an insider's view of how funds work, what they look for in candidates, and what life in the industry is really like. You will leave with a better understanding of whether the path suits you and concrete ideas on how to start building towards it. The session ends with an open Q&A, so this is your chance to ask questions directly from someone who has been there.
