This is an opportunity to join our Fund Management Support team, part of CIO Office, and work close with our Fund Management while finishing your studies.
The Position
In your role as a Student Analyst you will be a sparring partner and provide ongoing support to the Fund Management in a challenging and diverse role. You will be tracking the delivery of the outlined business plans in close collaboration with the Fund Management team and drive effective reporting of portfolio performance to other relevant stakeholders.
You will be part of the Fund Management Support team, a dedicated team of 4 colleagues across Nordics working with Urban Partners’ different funds.
You will work 2-3 days per week on average, with some flexibility. We would like you to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
Forecast our existing portfolio, including scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the potential impact of market changes and investment decisions on portfolio and fund performance
Prepare decision-making materials, presentation materials, and reports for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. assist in investor reporting and update fund update call slides)
Collaborate with the investment team and other relevant teams to evaluate and optimize the performance of our Funds
Monitor market trends and economic indicators to identify potential risks and opportunities within the fund
Provide support in evaluating new investment opportunities
Conduct industry research and stay updated on market developments
Continuously develop systems, processes, (PowerBI) reports, and ways of working as part of the team

Your Experience & Skills

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have/be:
A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate, or other related field, along with ongoing master's degree studies
Financial and accounting knowledge and a basic understanding of investments
Some relevant working and/or internship experience (e.g. within financial advisory, audit, management consulting, or other relevant position within the financial industry)
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and quantitative abilities
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, incl. financial modeling capabilities
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Finnish
