User Research & Product Analytics Internship
We’re building a world-class Insights team at Singa, and we’re looking for a user researcher and a product analyst to join us. You may find yourself drawn to one or more of the following areas.
Singa builds karaoke products for a global audience of singers. Interest in karaoke is massive — the search term “karaoke” consistently ranks among the most searched terms on YouTube, with over 200M monthly views for karaoke and singing content.
What the work looks like
The role focuses on understanding who our users are, how they use the product, and what drives growth.
1. Market–User Fit Research
Identify the users and use cases with the strongest product–market fit in each market. For example, which user groups and use cases best align with our current catalog and product in key markets:
● United States
● Sweden
● United Kingdom
● Finland
● Germany
2. Behavioral User Segmentation
Analyze song play behavior to create clear user segments based on distinct usage patterns and their relative importance.
3. Product Usage & Growth Modeling
Model how user behavior translates into retention and growth across markets and user types. Key areas include:
● subscription churn
● usage retention
● seasonality in product usage
● drivers of market growth
Expected Outcome
A clear understanding of which users the product serves best, how they behave, and what drives retention and growth.
