Rettig is currently looking to hire investment analyst interns to join its investment team during 2026.
Rettig is a family-owned investment company that creates value for generations. Our investment strategy focuses on both listed and private assets and sets out to generate attractive over-the-cycle returns while maintaining an appropriate risk level in the portfolio. A cornerstone in our investment strategy is the ambition to cooperate with professional and like-minded partners and co-investors. Rettig is controlled by the 9th generation of the von Rettig family.
We are active in Private Market Investments (e.g. private equity funds and co-investments), Liquid Investments (listed equity- or equity-like investment opportunities), Absolute Return Strategies (external global hedge funds with a diverse set of underlying strategies) and Listed Core Investments (value through active ownership in publicly traded companies). Our current Listed Core Investments comprise eQ and Terveystalo. Rettig has offices in Helsinki and Stockholm.
Position
Focus on publicly listed assets, namely Liquid Investments
Assist in detailed company and sector research analysis to support investment decisions
Assist in preparing investment decision memos, supporting analyses for Rettig’s management team as well as board materials
Screening new investment opportunities in the public markets
Assist in monitoring the investments and preparing investment performance reports
We are looking for interns for a period of at least 4 months with start dates during spring and fall of 2026
Flexible working hours depending on the candidate’s situation, however the candidate should commit to a minimum of 20 working hours per week on average
Qualifications
In advanced or final stages of B.Sc./M.Sc. in finance, industrial engineering and management or other relevant field of study
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Willingness and interest to work across a wide range of projects
Curious mindset and a genuine interest in investing
Ability to work independently as we are a small team
Completed internship at an investment bank, corporate finance boutique, equity research team or similar is seen as an advantage
