About the opportunity
We advise corporations, listed companies, asset owners, fund managers and development projects in their financing strategies and fund raising. Often our clients are thinking about refinancing or want to have investments that need funding, or they are planning to set up a fund or joint venture that needs either equity or debt financing. We employ financial models to enable analysis work and provide answers to key questions we encounter during our engagements. Our offering helps to find optimal solutions, eases and speeds up the financing negotiations. We want to work in cooperation with a client all the way from planning to execution.
The work you will do
Build clear and visually high-quality presentations and information memorandums for international debt tendering processes
Construct financial models to find critical insight for strategic advice and to support decision making
Develop financing strategies for companies in multiple different fields (e.g. Real Estate, Energy and both private and listed companies)
Perform strategic and financial analysis and provide insights on alternative financing options in very complex financing cases
Conduct well-thought valuations from different perspectives and for various client groups with applicable valuation approaches and methodologies
Support clients by preparing decision materials, conducting interviews and facilitating workshops
Present your work to both clients and other stakeholders during marketing and negotiation processes
What are we looking for?
We are first and foremost looking for problem solvers with good analytical and visualisation skills and an ideal candidate would have:
Strong self-motivation to work and develop in a fast-paced work environment
Previous work experience from e.g. strategy or management consulting or M&A transaction advisory
Proficient skills and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint. An ideal candidate has experience in building clear, compelling presentations that effectively communicate financial data through storytelling, use visuals and structured narratives to engage stakeholders
An analytical mindset combined with strong Microsoft Excel skills to enable structured problem-solving
Hold an M. Sc. degree in e.g. economics, finance, industrial engineering / are graduating within a year from these or a related field
Fluency in professional English and Finnish is essential (both written and verbal)
Would be able to start in the position in September-October
