Investment Banking Analysts

ICECAPITAL is an independent, fully employee-owned group operating in the Nordic region within investment banking and asset management. The group has offices in Helsinki and Stockholm and currently employs close to 40 professionals.

In investment banking, our advisory services focus on M&A advisory, debt advisory, project financing (debt and equity), capital raising as well as shareholder value advisory. Founded in 1999, ICECAPITAL draws on more than 25 years of experience as an independent sector-focused advisor, with particularly strong expertise in the energy, infrastructure and TMT sectors. Within infrastructure, we are the leading advisor in the Nordics and have participated in many of the region’s largest M&A transactions and refinancings. Since its establishment, ICECAPITAL has carried out more than 600 advisory assignments and completed transactions with a cumulative value exceeding EUR 25 billion. Our clientele includes both local and international corporations and investment funds.

We are now looking for enthusiastic full-time Investment Banking Analysts to join our M&A / corporate finance team in Helsinki.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing complex financial models for analysis and valuation of companies
• Preparing high-quality presentations and other materials for clients and investors
• Analyzing detailed company and market-related information
• Taking responsibility for defined work streams in all stages of transactions, from pitching to execution

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED

• Strong academic background with a relevant master’s degree (or close to graduation) in Economics (majoring in e.g. finance or accounting) or Engineering
• Analytical, hardworking, and goal-oriented mindset
• Understanding of accounting and corporate finance
• Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Financial modelling skills are considered beneficial
• Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in Finnish and English as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Working experience in investment banking, corporate banking, financial markets or management consulting is considered a plus, but not a prerequisite
• Genuine interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and prior experience from the sectors is regarded as a plus
