Junior Trader – Fixed Income

A global fixed income hedge fund is expanding its Helsinki trading team and is seeking a Junior Trader to support interest rate relative value strategies.

The role involves analytical support, modelling, and execution assistance within a live trading environment, working closely with senior portfolio managers.

What we expect from applicants

• Strong quantitative foundation with excellent academic performance in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, statistics, or finance

• Python skills (or clear learning trajectory) – hands-on experience from coursework, projects, or work, combined with strong motivation to deepen skills rapidly on the job

• Genuine interest in fixed income & macro markets – follows interest rates, central banks, and market dynamics beyond formal studies

• Relevant analytical experience – internships or work experience in investment banking, trading, consulting, quantitative research, or analytics environments
