Investment Intern

Cevian Capital is a private investment firm acquiring significant ownership positions in European public companies where long-term value can be enhanced through active ownership. Cevian was founded in 2002 by Christer Gardell and Lars Förberg. Cevian is the largest dedicated active-ownership fund in Europe with c. USD 15 billion in assets under management and advisory offices in Stockholm, Zürich and London.

Current investments include ABB, Autoliv, CRH, Ericsson, Metso, Nordea, Pearson, Rexel and UBS.

Internship

Cevian Capital AB is looking for an intern to join its team of investment professionals in Stockholm during fall 2025 and/or spring/summer 2026. Candidates are expected to be in their final or penultimate year of studies, and interested in pursuing a future career in the investment industry. The intern will contribute to the team by performing fundamental analysis of listed European companies. Responsibilities include: financial modelling and valuation; conducting interviews with companies’ management, customers, competitors, industry experts and policy makers; data gathering and analysis. The working language at Cevian is English.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding academic track record with a (soon to be completed) degree (MSc or BSc) in business/finance/economics and/or engineering

• Internships and/or extracurricular activities that demonstrate high intellectual capacity, leadership and drive

• Exceptional analytical skills

• Creative, capable of finding innovative solutions to complex problems

• Strong personal integrity, capable of challenging conventional wisdom
