Investment Banking Internship

Dear friends,

Carner Corporate Finance is a leading corporate finance advisory firm, and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Investment Banking Intern for a 4-6 month full-time internship in Helsinki during spring 2026. The exact period for the internship can be flexibly decided, but the preferred starting date is January or February 2026.

As an Intern at Carner, you will become a valued team member and gain hands-on experience in M&A, including:

• Exposure to cross-border M&A transactions in a wide range of industries, serving clients both in sell-side and buy-side mandates

• Analyzing and evaluating companies and market segments from an M&A perspective (e.g., screening, research, financial modeling)

• Assisting in the preparation of transaction process-related materials such as sales pitches, teasers and information memorandums

We are looking for an ambitious team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills supported by an excellent academic track record. Candidates should have completed at least two years of their studies in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or other relevant field. Fluency in Finnish and English is necessary and previous work or internship experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting or business development is considered an advantage.
