Carner Corporate Finance is a leading Helsinki-based corporate finance advisory firm, recognized as Finland's Financial Adviser of the Year 2025 by Mergermarket and the market leader by completed transactions. We are now looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Investment Banking Intern for a full-time 4–6 month internship in Helsinki in spring 2027. The exact timing is flexible, with a preferred start in January or February 2027.

As an Intern at Carner, you will become a valued team member and gain hands-on experience in M&A, including:

• Exposure to cross-border M&A transactions in a wide range of industries, serving clients both in sell-side and buy-side mandates

• Analyzing and evaluating companies and market segments from an M&A perspective (e.g., screening, research, financial modeling)

• Assisting in the preparation of transaction process-related materials such as sales pitches, teasers, and information memorandums

We are looking for an ambitious team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills supported by an excellent academic track record. Candidates should have completed at least two years of their studies in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant field. Fluency in Finnish and English is necessary, and previous work or internship experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or business development is considered an advantage.
