Investment Internship – Autumn 2027

Axcel is looking for investment interns to join our Stockholm office during the autumn of 2027. The four-month internship will commence August 2027.

Founded in the Nordics, Axcel is a leading private equity firm investing across Northern Europe, with a focus on four sectors: Technology, Business Services & Industrials, Healthcare and Consumer.

Our team across Copenhagen, Stockholm and Frankfurt draws on +30 years of experience in building market leaders through a collaborative mindset and a structured approach to value creation.

Axcel has raised ten funds, with committed capital of more than EUR 6.9 billion from Nordic and international investors. We currently own 28 companies and have made a total of 82 platform investments, more than 500 add-on acquisitions and 54 exits.

What you will do as an intern at Axcel:

• Identify new investment opportunities

• Prepare valuation materials

• Conduct industry and company analyses

• Partake in due diligence processes

• Be involved in negotiations during acquisition and divestment processes

• Work on the development of Axcel’s existing portfolio companies

To be successful in the role, we believe that you should have:

• A strong academic track-record

• A commercial, strategic and financial understanding and interest

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Solid proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel

• A positive attitude and a drive to learn and develop

• Previous work experience from investment banking, consulting or an investment firm is an advantage, but not a requirement

• Fluency in English and a Nordic language
